Meet the Team

Director of Sport

Susanne heads up a strong team of staff at Active Netball.

She started playing netball aged 9 in the UK and came to coaching and umpiring much later when her daughter started playing. She set up a community club having gained her Level 2 Coaching Award and received recognition for excellence in management and duty of care to her membership from England Netball. She coached at UK county and Regional Levels before heading to Dubai to start up extensive playing and training opportunities within the UAE. Susanne loves netball and is excited to be working towards growing and developing the sport on a global level.

Lead Netball Coach

Emily started playing netball at the age of 10, joining a club after enjoying playing at school. As a teen, she was selected to play for Northamptonshire county, and then later Bedfordshire county. At university she became club and first team captain, playing a part in winning Premier South and gaining both silver and gold BUCS Championship medals. Emily holds a Sports Studies degree and is a level 2 netball coach, having coached a variety of school and club teams in the UK.

Active Netball Extraordinaire

Rosalin works closely with Susanne and the team and is enjoying her introduction to the sport of netball. She has worked for over 15 years in Dubai as an administrator in interior design and sports retail. She is delighted to learn a new sport (look out for her at Back to Netball) and is the smiley face at our leagues keeping everything in order. Rosalin enjoys trying new sports in her free time and is our person at the end of the phone dealing all things netball.

Operations Manager

Gill is our resident netball geek who has played netball since the age of 7. Having lived in Dubai for 8 years now she is a very familiar face on the UAE netball scene and currently represents Emirates Netball. Having previously worked in events and marketing in the sports sector she has great experience within the industry here in the UAE and is delighted that she can now use her experience in working in her favourite sport.
