Foundation Coaching Course in collaboration with Netball Australia

Netball is the leading women’s participation team sport in the world and the top team-based sport in Australia for 15 to 24 year olds. Over 1.2 million participants enjoy the game nationally and Australia has been dominant on the international stage since 1963.
As a Foundation Coach, you will play an important role in supporting and enhancing the netball experience of the players you coach, helping them to improve their netball skills and develop a lifelong engagement with the game.
The course tutor is Nicole Keegan; an NCAS Elite accredited coach in Australia. Nicole has much experience at running and managing Australia’s High Performance Coach and Coach Education pathways. She has coached in numerous elite pathways and is the current High Performance Coach Co-ordinator and Coach Mentor for Netball Victoria. This course is primarily aimed at beginner coaches, and consists of four modules:
• The Role of a Coach
• Teaching Netball Skills
• The Coach in Action
Course Eligibility – No prior coaching experience necessary (Minimum 15 years of age)
